Privacy Policy for Haaziri (हाज़िरी)

Haaziri ("the App", "we", "us") is an attendance register and salary tracker for shopkeepers and small businesses. This policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using Haaziri you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

a) Information you provide

Mobile phone number	To create your account and sign you in using a one-time password (OTP).
Shop / business details (shop name, type, city)	To set up and personalise your register.
Worker records (names, roles, wages, work schedule, and any photo you add)	To let you manage attendance and salary for the people you employ.
Attendance, salary, advance and payment-method records	Core functionality of the App — tracking attendance and calculating pay. Payment-method fields (Cash / UPI / Bank) are records only; the App does not process or move any money.

b) Information collected automatically

Data	Purpose
Device information and a push notification token	To send you reminders and notifications about the App.

We do not collect your precise location, we do not serve advertisements, and we do not sell your personal data to third parties.

2. How Your Data Is Stored

Your data is stored on your device. If you sign in, your register is also backed up to our secure cloud (Google Firebase) so you can restore it and sync across devices. Your data is stored under an identifier tied to your account and is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following service providers, who process data on our behalf:

Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Messaging) — account sign-in, cloud backup, and notifications. See the Firebase Privacy & Security page.
MSG91 — sending the OTP SMS used to verify your phone number.
Expo — delivery of push notifications.

4. How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the App's attendance and salary features.
To authenticate you and secure your account.
To back up and sync your data across your devices.
To send you reminders and service-related notifications.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated cloud data at any time by contacting us at the email below. We will delete your cloud-stored data within 30 days of a verified request. Data stored locally on your device is removed when you uninstall the App.

6. Children's Privacy

Haaziri is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted transmission and access controls, to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through an in-App notice.
